The Foundation for Surgical Innovation and Education (FSIE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of minimally invasive surgery through research, education, and clinical innovation. Based in Portland, Oregon, FSIE focuses on developing and refining endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques, such as Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) for the treatment of achalasia.
