The Heart Hospital of Milwaukee was a specialized healthcare facility focused exclusively on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Opened in 2003 as a joint venture between MedCath Corporation and a group of local physicians, the hospital was designed to provide high-efficiency, patient-centered cardiac care. The facility offered a range of services including emergency cardiac care, diagnostic imaging, catheterization labs, and surgical suites. In 2006, the hospital was acquired by Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, which eventually consolidated its services into the broader regional health system now operated by Ascension.
