The Indus Entrepreneurs

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is a prominent global non-profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, incubating, and funding. Founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives with roots in the Indus region, it has grown into one of the largest entrepreneurship networks in the world. While TiE is not a life sciences company, it maintains significant Special Interest Groups (SIGs) in healthcare and biotechnology, providing a platform for startups in these sectors to connect with investors and mentors. The organization operates through numerous local chapters across multiple countries, hosting flagship events like TiEcon to support the global startup ecosystem.
