The PARC

The Pharmaceutical Applied Research Center (The PARC) is a Prague-based research platform and postgraduate program dedicated to accelerating innovation in drug research and development. Founded by Zentiva in collaboration with leading academic institutions including the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague and Charles University, the center bridges the gap between basic academic research and industrial application. Its primary focus lies in solid-state chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, and biopharmacy, particularly addressing challenges related to the solubility and bioavailability of small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients. The PARC has successfully generated numerous patents and scientific publications, and has fostered the creation of specialized biotech startups like MarbleMat and Levare.
