The PharmaNetwork

The PharmaNetwork is a global alliance of independent pharmaceutical companies and a specialty pharmaceutical firm headquartered in Somerset, New Jersey. Founded in 2001 by John J. Brennan, the former CEO of the CRO PharmaNet, the company provides a collaborative platform for licensing, business development, and international commercialization. The PharmaNetwork assists its members—primarily mid-sized and specialty pharmaceutical companies—in navigating regulatory hurdles and clinical development to expand their global market presence. Historically, the company has also managed its own portfolio of specialty products, notably the insomnia treatment Zolpimist (zolpidem oral spray), the U.S. and Canadian rights for which were sold to Aytu BioScience in 2018. Today, the organization continues to serve as a strategic hub for cross-border pharmaceutical partnerships and commercialization services.
