The Providence Center

The Providence Center is a Rhode Island-based nonprofit behavioral health organization that provides outpatient mental health care, addiction treatment, residential and supportive housing services, child and family services, and community-based wraparound support. Founded in 1969, it serves adults, adolescents, and children through a broad continuum of more than 60 programs delivered in clinics, homes, schools, and neighborhoods. The organization is particularly focused on community behavioral health, recovery services, and integrated primary and behavioral care. The Providence Center operates as part of Care New England and is one of the leading mental health and addiction treatment providers in Rhode Island.
