The Rheumatological Center of Helsinki

Helsingin Reumakeskus, also known as The Rheumatological Center of Helsinki, is a specialized medical facility in Finland dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. Established in 1991, the center provides comprehensive care for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Beyond clinical practice, it serves as a significant hub for international clinical research, conducting Phase 2 through Phase 4 trials for novel immunological therapies. In 2021, the center was acquired by Terveystalo, the leading private healthcare provider in Finland, to strengthen its specialized rheumatology services.
