The Saunders Group

The Saunders Group was a U.S. medical device and rehabilitation products company focused on non-invasive spinal care, back supports, traction systems, and related physical therapy products. The company developed and marketed patented cervical and lumbar traction devices, chiropractic and rehabilitation equipment, exercise products, and educational materials for clinicians and patients with musculoskeletal pain. Its customer base included physical therapists, chiropractors, physicians, athletic trainers, professional athletes, retail outlets, and home-use patients. The company appears to have operated from Minnesota and was acquired by DJO in July 2007, after which Saunders-branded products continued to be commercialized through DJO/Chattanooga channels.
