The Veterinary Cooperative

The Veterinary Cooperative (TVC) is a member-owned purchasing cooperative designed to help independent veterinary hospitals compete with corporate-owned practices and large retailers. By aggregating the purchasing power of thousands of independent clinics, TVC negotiates favorable pricing, rebates, and contract terms with major animal health manufacturers and distributors. Beyond procurement, the cooperative provides its members with business education, marketing resources, and networking opportunities to improve practice profitability. In January 2024, TVC was acquired by Covetrus, a global leader in animal-health technology and services, to further enhance its support for the independent veterinary community.
