The Wyatt Company was a prominent global actuarial and human resources consulting firm that played a foundational role in the design of corporate healthcare and employee benefit programs. Founded in 1943 by Birchard E. Wyatt, the firm became a key advisor to large organizations, including many in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, regarding the strategic management of retirement and health insurance systems. In 1995, the company merged with the UK-based R. Watson & Sons to form Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Through subsequent consolidations, including a merger with Towers Perrin and later Willis Group, the entity's legacy continues today as part of Willis Towers Watson (WTW). The firm is historically significant for its influence on the actuarial standards and health benefit structures used by major global employers.
