Thena Biotech is a biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation bispecific T-cell engagers for the treatment of solid tumors. The company utilizes its proprietary Conditional T-cell Engager (CoTE) platform to engineer "masked" antibodies that remain inactive in systemic circulation and are selectively triggered by proteases within the tumor microenvironment. This approach is designed to overcome the systemic toxicities, such as cytokine release syndrome, that have historically limited the use of T-cell engagers in solid tumor indications. Thena Biotech's lead program, THN-101, targets Prostate Stem Cell Antigen (PSCA) and is currently undergoing IND-enabling studies for prostate and other PSCA-expressing cancers.
