Therapure Biomanufacturing

Therapure Biomanufacturing is a Canadian biologics-focused contract development and manufacturing organization based in Mississauga, Ontario. The business provides integrated CDMO services including process development, analytical development and testing, scale-up, cGMP drug substance manufacturing, and aseptic fill/finish for clinical and commercial biologics programs. Historically, Therapure Biomanufacturing operated as the CDMO division of Therapure Biopharma and served developers of therapeutic proteins, vaccines, and other high-value biologics. In 2017, its CDMO business was sold for US$290 million to a joint venture formed by 3SBio and CPE Funds, and the business later became part of National Resilience through the acquisition of Therapure Biopharma's CDMO assets in 2020/2021. The requested entity is therefore best understood as an acquired biologics manufacturing business/brand rather than an independent drug-development biotech with a proprietary clinical pipeline.
