Company intelligence / Profile preview
ThinkPanmure was a boutique investment bank and institutional brokerage firm formed in 2007 through the acquisition of US-based ThinkEquity Partners by the UK-based Panmure Gordon & Co. The firm specialized in providing financial services to growth-oriented companies, with a particular focus on the healthcare, biotechnology, and technology sectors. It offered a range of services including equity research, investment banking, and asset management, leveraging its "London bridge" strategy to connect US and European capital markets. ThinkPanmure was well-regarded for its specialized life sciences team, which provided deep sector expertise and advisory services to institutional and high-net-worth clients. Although it was a significant player in the biotech financial ecosystem, the firm operated as a financial services provider rather than a drug development company. The ThinkPanmure brand was eventually retired as the firm's operations were integrated or rebranded, and the ThinkEquity name was later revived as an independent entity in 2018.
