Company intelligence / Profile preview
Tilden-Yates Laboratories was a mid-20th-century pharmaceutical manufacturer formed by the 1960 merger of The Tilden Company and Yates Drug Company. The company specialized in ethical pharmaceuticals, maintaining a diverse portfolio of small molecule drugs for respiratory, cardiovascular, and sedative applications. Headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts, it leveraged the long-standing heritage of The Tilden Company, which was established in 1824 as one of the first pharmaceutical manufacturing houses in the United States. Tilden-Yates was acquired in 1968 by Chemway Corporation, which later integrated the business into Cooper Laboratories.
