TIPharma

TI Pharma (Top Institute Pharma) was a prominent Dutch public-private partnership that operated as a virtual drug discovery and development institute. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Utrecht, the organization managed a vast portfolio of collaborative R&D projects involving international pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and academic institutions. TI Pharma's mission was to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical application, focusing on areas such as infectious diseases, oncology, and chronic inflammatory conditions. The organization was instrumental in the Dutch Top Sector policy, coordinating over 100 projects and managing hundreds of millions of euros in research funding. In 2015, TI Pharma merged with the Center for Translational Molecular Medicine (CTMM) to form Lygature, a non-profit organization that continues to manage complex multi-stakeholder R&D consortia.
