Tissue Therapies

Tissue Therapies was an Australian wound-healing and regenerative medicine company that later traded as Factor Therapeutics. The company developed biomimetic extracellular matrix and cell-based technologies intended to improve acute and chronic wound healing, with historical focus on venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and burns. Its best-known program was VitroGro ECM, a synthetic extracellular matrix protein scaffold for hard-to-heal wounds, and later disclosures also referenced VF-001 and autologous cell therapy activities. The business was publicly listed on the ASX and at one point described itself as a clinical-stage life sciences company, but it subsequently became distressed, was delisted/suspended, and is generally treated as inactive/dead by company databases. The entity does not appear to have been acquired; rather, it underwent a name change and later ceased meaningful operations as an active biotech.
