TM Bioscience was a Toronto-based molecular diagnostics company specializing in the development of genetic tests for personalized medicine and disease screening. The company's core technology, the Tag-It Universal Array platform, utilized a proprietary universal DNA tag system to enable high-throughput, multiplexed genetic analysis on the Luminex xMAP system. Its product portfolio included the first FDA-cleared multiplexed test for cystic fibrosis, as well as assays for blood clotting disorders and pharmacogenetic markers like Cytochrome P450 enzymes. In 2007, the company was acquired by Luminex Corporation to serve as the foundation for Luminex's molecular diagnostics division.
