TMK Manufacturing

TMK Manufacturing was a U.S.-based specialty prototyping and precision machining company serving medical technology OEMs and other advanced industrial customers. Founded in 2006 in Santa Clara, California, the company provided highly complex prototype and production components, with capabilities including development, engineering, milling, turning, and EDM machining. TMK appears to have focused on outsourced manufacturing rather than drug development, making it more of a medtech supply-chain and manufacturing business than a biotech or pharmaceutical company. In March 2020, TMK was acquired by Vander-Bend Manufacturing as part of Vander-Bend's strategy to expand its prototyping and small-format machining capabilities for medical technology customers. The standalone TMK entity now appears to be inactive as an independent company following that acquisition.
