TomaTech

TomaTech was an Israeli agtech seed company focused on developing hybrid tomato varieties for greenhouse and fresh-market production. The company combined molecular-marker technology with classical breeding to create tomatoes emphasizing flavor, yield, shelf life, plant performance, and resistance traits such as Tomato brown rugose fruit virus resistance. In 2022, TomaTech and Nirit Seeds were acquired and merged, and the combined business was later rebranded as Harmoniz. As a result, TomaTech is best understood today as a former standalone tomato seed company whose assets, breeding programs, and commercial operations now continue under Harmoniz.
