Toothpic

Toothpic is a digital health and teledentistry company that developed a smartphone-based platform for remote dental assessment and triage. Its service guides users to capture intraoral photos on a mobile phone, routes cases to licensed dentists, and returns a diagnostic-style report with findings, treatment guidance, and estimated next steps. The company partnered with dental insurers and other oral health organizations to expand access to virtual dental care, including preventive and non-emergency assessments. Toothpic was acquired by quip in April 2022 and its technology became part of quip’s broader oral health platform strategy.
