Chiesi Pharmaceuticals GmbH, formerly known as Torrex Chiesi Pharma, is the Austrian subsidiary and regional headquarters for the Central and Eastern European (CEE) and CIS markets of the Italian pharmaceutical group Chiesi Farmaceutici. The company focuses on the development and commercialization of innovative therapies in respiratory health, neonatology, rare diseases, and special care. Its commercial portfolio includes market-leading products such as Foster and Trimbow for asthma and COPD, as well as Curosurf for neonatal respiratory distress syndrome. Formed through the 2001 acquisition of Torrex Pharma, the entity was rebranded in 2011 to align with Chiesi's global identity. As part of the Chiesi Group, it is a certified B Corp, committed to high standards of social and environmental performance.
