Towa2B is the global business-to-business (B2B) and CMO/CDMO business unit of Towa International, which serves as the international hub of the Japanese generic pharmaceutical leader Towa Pharmaceutical. Headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, Towa2B is responsible for the international out-licensing, distribution, and contract manufacturing of high-quality generic and value-added medicines in more than 40 countries outside of direct markets. The unit leverages Towa International's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Martorelles, Barcelona, which is one of Europe's largest facilities for controlled-release products and pellets, and features a newly expanded high-containment area for high-potency drugs. Towa2B offers comprehensive development and manufacturing services (CMO/CDMO) to third-party generic and innovator pharmaceutical companies, focusing on oral solids, oncology treatments, and complex formulations.
