Traken (officially Traken Tech) is a Belgrade-based deep-tech company that provides a blockchain-based data management and asset tracking infrastructure. Originally developed for the energy sector to manage smart grid assets and facilitate decentralized energy trading, the company has expanded its technology for applications in life sciences and healthcare. The Traken platform utilizes hybrid blockchain protocols and self-sovereign identity (SSI) to ensure the security, integrity, and transparency of medical records and clinical trial data. As a member of the EIT Health ecosystem, Traken focuses on eliminating data silos and improving the interoperability of sensitive health data through decentralized ledger technology.
