Company intelligence / Profile preview
Trans Health Management, Inc. (THMI) was a healthcare management company that operated as a subsidiary of Trans Healthcare, Inc. (THI). Established in 1998, the company provided administrative and management services to a large network of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centers, and long-term acute care hospitals across the United States. At its peak, the company managed care for over 30,000 patients annually through its nationwide network. THMI became central to high-profile legal battles in the late 2000s and early 2010s following allegations of systemic negligence and wrongful death at its managed facilities. These legal challenges led to the company's insolvency and a series of controversial asset transfers to Fundamental Long Term Care Holdings. By 2012, the company was no longer in business, having been involved in one of the largest nursing home liability cases in Florida history.
