Transimmune

Transimmune is a biotechnology company developing a novel platform for physiologically induced dendritic cell (phDC) therapies. Spun out of Yale University and based on the research of Dr. Richard Edelson, the company aims to replicate the natural maturation of dendritic cells to create more potent and synchronized immunotherapies. Unlike traditional methods that use artificial cytokines, Transimmune's approach utilizes physiological triggers, such as platelet-monocyte interactions, to generate therapeutic cells at the point of care. The company is currently advancing programs in oncology, infectious diseases (including an HIV vaccine in collaboration with the Gates Foundation), and autoimmune disorders. Transimmune's technology seeks to bridge the gap between vaccine-mediated and natural immunity to improve patient outcomes across a range of hard-to-treat conditions.
