Tree Line Capital Partners is a private credit asset management firm focused on direct lending to lower middle-market companies in North America. The firm provides first lien term loans, unitranche term loans, revolvers, and equity co-investments for acquisitions, recapitalizations, refinancings, expansion projects, and other growth capital needs. It is not a life sciences, biotech, pharma, or healthcare operating company; rather, it is a financial services firm that invests across lower middle-market borrowers. Tree Line was founded in 2014 by Tom Quimby and Jon Schroeder and is headquartered in San Francisco. In 2024, Aflac Global Investments agreed to acquire a 40% stake in the firm while Tree Line retained investment and operational autonomy.
