Trelaget

Trelaget is a Norwegian biotechnology company specializing in the development of next-generation T-cell receptor (TCR) therapies for cancer. Spun out from the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital, the company leverages a proprietary platform to identify TCRs that can recognize highly specific cancer targets across different HLA types. Their approach, based on the research of Professor Johanna Olweus, focuses on out-of-the-box TCRs sourced from healthy donors to target antigens that are otherwise invisible to the patient's own immune system. This technology aims to overcome the limitations of current immunotherapies, particularly in solid tumors where effective targets are scarce. Trelaget is currently in the pre-clinical stage, advancing a pipeline of TCR-T cell candidates for both hematological and solid malignancies. The company is supported by Inven2, the leading technology transfer office in Norway.
