Triangle Pharmanaturals was a Las Vegas-based company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of kratom-based dietary supplements. The company gained significant notoriety in April 2018 when it became the subject of the first-ever mandatory recall order issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the Food Safety Modernization Act. This action followed a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to kratom products, with several of the company's brands testing positive for the bacteria. Triangle Pharmanaturals marketed various kratom strains under brands such as Raw Form Organics, Molecule Kratom, and Lifted Kratom. Following the mandatory recall and the company's failure to cooperate with federal investigators, it ceased production and distribution of its products.
