TRiCares has developed Topaz, a minimally invasive transfemoral tricuspid heart valve replacement system for patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation who are not candidates for open-heart surgery. The company recently secured FDA Investigational Device Exemption to begin an Early Feasibility Study in the US and plans to initiate a pivotal trial in Europe. Additional development includes new valve sizes and next-generation delivery systems. No commercial or late-stage clinical results have been published yet.
