Overview
Natesto (testosterone nasal gel), formerly CompleoTRT, received FDA approval in May 2014 for testosterone replacement therapy in adult males with hypogonadism. The product offers a novel intranasal route that avoids transference risks associated with topical gels. Other pipeline products included Tefina™ for female orgasmic disorder and various respiratory therapies. Clinical results showed efficacy and safety endpoints were met for Natesto; other programs were at earlier stages or discontinued after rebranding to Acerus[3].
