Triple-S Salud

Triple-S Salud is the leading managed care company in Puerto Rico and an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. The company provides a comprehensive suite of health insurance products, including commercial individual and group plans, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid services. It serves as a primary provider for the Puerto Rico Government Health Plan, known as Plan Vital, covering a significant portion of the island's population. In February 2022, Triple-S Management Corporation, the parent company of Triple-S Salud, was acquired by GuideWell Mutual Holding Corporation. Despite the acquisition, Triple-S Salud continues to operate under its well-known brand, focusing on improving healthcare access and outcomes in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
