Company intelligence / Profile preview
Triumph HealthCare was a leading provider of long-term acute care (LTAC) services in the United States, specializing in the treatment of medically complex patients. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company operated a network of specialized hospitals designed for patients who required extended stays beyond the capabilities of traditional short-term acute care facilities. Their clinical services focused on pulmonary care, including ventilator weaning, as well as intensive wound care and rehabilitation. In 2010, the company was acquired by Kindred Healthcare for approximately $510 million, which integrated Triumph's facilities into its national network. At the time of the acquisition, Triumph was one of the largest LTAC operators in the country, particularly dominant in the Texas market.
