Company intelligence / Profile preview
Trophy Radiologie, commonly known as Trophy X-ray, was a pioneering French medical technology company that specialized in dental imaging solutions. Founded in 1946, the company became a global leader in the dental industry, most notably for inventing the first digital intraoral X-ray sensor, the RadioVisioGraphy (RVG), in the early 1980s. The company's portfolio included a wide range of intraoral and panoramic X-ray systems, as well as dental practice management software. Following its acquisition by PracticeWorks in 2002 and subsequently by Eastman Kodak in 2003, its operations were integrated into Kodak's Health Group, which later became Carestream Health and eventually Carestream Dental. Today, the Trophy brand remains a respected name within the Carestream Dental product ecosystem, representing a legacy of innovation in digital dental diagnostics.
