True North Therapeutics was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing first-in-class therapies that selectively inhibit the Complement system. The company's lead program, TNT009 (now known as sutimlimab or Enjaymo), was designed to target the C1s enzyme in the classical complement pathway to treat rare hematologic and autoimmune diseases. True North was particularly noted for its work in Cold Agglutinin Disease (CAD), a rare autoimmune hemolytic anemia. The company was acquired by Bioverativ in 2017, which was subsequently acquired by Sanofi, leading to the eventual FDA approval of Enjaymo.
