Tucson Orthopaedic Institute

Tucson Orthopaedic Institute operates as the largest private orthopaedic practice in Southern Arizona. It provides comprehensive orthopaedic care—including surgery, physical therapy, imaging—and runs an active clinical research center conducting phase II–IV trials on orthopaedic devices and therapeutics for musculoskeletal conditions. The institute has participated in studies involving biologics/proteins/devices for osteoarthritis pain management, post-surgical bleeding control, Dupuytren’s contracture treatment with collagenase injections, and more. It collaborates with pharmaceutical companies and CROs to advance new treatments but does not itself develop proprietary drugs or devices.
