Tueo Health

Tueo Health was a U.S. digital health company focused on improving asthma management, especially in children, through passive physiologic monitoring and software-guided care. The company developed an integrated system combining contactless or sensor-based monitoring, a mobile application, and asthma coaching to help families track symptoms, environment, and treatment response. Originating from Stanford Biodesign work, Tueo positioned its technology as a platform for chronic disease monitoring, with asthma as its initial use case. Tueo Health raised early-stage venture funding and was ultimately acquired by Apple in 2018, after which its team and technology were absorbed into Apple’s health efforts. The company is no longer operating as an independent business.
