Tufpak is a U.S. manufacturer of engineered plastic films, bags, and pouches used in regulated healthcare, medical device, laboratory, and biopharmaceutical packaging applications. The company is best known for autoclave biohazard bags and related high-temperature polypropylene film products, as well as medical device packaging, aseptic sampling bags, breather bags, specimen bags, and other specialty packaging. Its products are used for containment, sterilization-compatible handling, and transport applications rather than drug development or therapeutics. Tufpak was acquired by Spartech in December 2020 and operates as part of Spartech's healthcare-oriented specialty packaging business.
