Tumor Biology Center Freiburg

The Tumor Biology Center Freiburg (Tumorbiologisches Zentrum Freiburg) was a prominent private oncology clinic and research center located in Freiburg, Germany. Founded in 1993, it was recognized for its unique model of integrating acute clinical care, oncological rehabilitation, and applied research. The center played a significant role in clinical oncology by participating in various Phase I-III clinical trials and developing holistic treatment programs. In 2015, the facility was acquired by the University Medical Center Freiburg (Universitätsklinikum Freiburg) following a period of insolvency. Today, its clinical and research activities are fully integrated into the University's Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg (CCCF).
