Turmeric Acquisition Corporation

Turmeric Acquisition was a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company formed in 2020 to pursue a business combination in biotechnology, with an emphasis on oncology and rare disease therapeutics. It was sponsored by affiliates of MPM Capital and led by biotech-focused executives including Luke Evnin and Matthew Roden. The company completed its IPO on Nasdaq in October 2020 but did not consummate an initial business combination within its required timeframe. In October 2022, it redeemed its public shares and entered liquidation. Turmeric Acquisition did not itself operate a drug development pipeline, commercial product portfolio, or healthcare services business.
