Two Sigma Impact is a mission-driven private equity business within Two Sigma focused on workforce impact rather than drug development or healthcare products. It seeks to combine active ownership, data science, and technology resources to invest in companies where improving job quality and employee experience can drive stronger business performance and positive social outcomes. The business was launched in late 2020 and closed its inaugural impact fund in 2023 with approximately $677 million in capital commitments. Its stated investment thesis is that better jobs can create better companies, particularly in services businesses, and it uses the Good Job Score Assessment Tool as a core analytical framework.
