U Analytical Informatics

Analytical Informatics was a U.S. healthcare IT company focused on radiology informatics and workflow analytics for imaging departments. Founded as a University of Maryland, Baltimore spinout, the company developed vendor-agnostic software tools that analyzed operational and clinical imaging data in real time to improve radiology workflow, throughput, and performance management. Its products were used to generate dashboards, operational insights, and workflow applications for diagnostic radiology departments rather than to develop therapeutics. In November 2017, the company was acquired by Philips to expand Philips Radiology Solutions and its operational informatics capabilities.
