U.S. community pathologists

US Community Pathologists (USCP) was a specialized provider of anatomic pathology services, focusing on subspecialty diagnostics for community-based physicians. The company offered expertise in areas such as dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, and urologic pathology, serving ambulatory surgery centers and physician offices. USCP's business model centered on providing high-quality diagnostic reports with rapid turnaround times to improve patient care at the local level. Founded in 2006 and backed by Linden Capital Partners, the company grew through the acquisition and integration of local pathology practices. In 2011, USCP was acquired by Aurora Diagnostics, and its operations were eventually integrated into the Sonic Healthcare network following Sonic's acquisition of Aurora in 2019.
