UAHC Health Plan of Tennessee was a managed care organization and a subsidiary of United American Healthcare Corporation. The company operated as a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) specifically focused on providing services to Medicaid recipients through Tennessee's TennCare program. It managed a network of healthcare providers and coordinated medical benefits for thousands of enrollees across the state. In 2008, following a period of regulatory and financial transition, the company's Tennessee Medicaid assets and membership were sold to AmeriChoice, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group.
