UAI

UAI (also known as YOUAI) is a South Korean biotechnology company focused on the discovery and early-stage development of small molecule therapeutics for oncology and metabolic diseases. The company operates primarily as an originator of novel drug candidates, which it licenses to larger pharmaceutical partners for clinical advancement. Its pipeline includes UAI-101, an 11β-HSD inhibitor for diabetes mellitus licensed to Ahn-Gook Pharmaceutical, and UAI-201 (also known as UI-152 or TEW-0201), a selective RAF inhibitor targeting the BRAF V600E mutation for melanoma and multiple myeloma. Additionally, UAI collaborates with academic institutions such as KAIST on the development of estrogen-related receptor gamma (ERRγ) modulators for anaplastic thyroid cancer.
