UBI Pharma Inc. (UBIP) is a Taiwan-based pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and manufacturing of long-acting protein drugs and specialty injectables. Established in 2014 as a spin-off from United Biomedical, Inc. Asia, the company operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hsinchu that was the first in Asia (outside Japan) to pass US FDA inspection for sterile injectables. UBIP's core business includes a robust CDMO/CMO service model and a proprietary pipeline featuring biobetters and high-barrier generics. Key technology platforms include the Single-Chain Fc (sFc) fusion protein platform and a polysaccharide protein fusion platform designed to extend drug half-life. The company recently achieved regulatory success with the approval of AidzPir (NDF01) for HIV and is advancing UB-851, an erythropoietin biosimilar.
