STADA Ukraine (Subsidiary Enterprise STADA-Ukraine) is the Ukrainian subsidiary of the German pharmaceutical company STADA Arzneimittel AG. The company is a major player in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market, specializing in the marketing, sales, and distribution of generic prescription drugs, over-the-counter (OTC) consumer healthcare products, and specialty pharmaceuticals. Notably, STADA Ukraine has marketed Lavomax (tilorone), a synthetic small-molecule interferon inducer used for the treatment and prevention of influenza, acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), and viral hepatitis. In 2019, STADA expanded its local footprint by acquiring the pharmaceutical business of Biopharma, including a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bila Tserkva. Today, STADA Ukraine employs over 400 people and operates a main office in Kyiv alongside its manufacturing operations.
