Overview

Umay has developed and commercialized the REST device—a wearable that uses periocular warming/cooling and heart rate variability biofeedback to reduce digital eye strain symptoms and improve sleep quality. Clinical studies have shown improvements in digital eye strain symptoms (measured by OSDI, CVSS-17), sleep quality (PSQI), and stress response (STAI) after use of the device[7].
