Unibio has developed and commercialized a proprietary fermentation process that converts methane gas into high-quality microbial protein ("Uniprotein®"), primarily for use as animal feed. The process uses significantly less water than traditional plant or animal-based proteins and can be deployed in decentralized facilities. The company has pilot/demo plants in Denmark and industrial projects underway internationally. No clinical results as it does not develop human therapeutics.
