UnionDerm, originally organized as Union Square Laser Dermatology, is a private New York City dermatology group focused on cosmetic, medical, and procedural dermatology services. Founded in 2011, the practice operates from Union Square and Central Park locations and offers laser procedures, injectables, skin rejuvenation, and other office-based dermatologic treatments. The company is physician-led, with founder and medical director Dr. Anne Chapas and a team of board-certified dermatologists. UnionDerm also states that it conducts FDA clinical research with biotech and medical device companies, but it does not appear to operate a proprietary therapeutic drug pipeline like a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
