Unipex

Unipex is a French specialty ingredients distributor and solutions provider serving pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, personal care, and related life science markets. Historically, the company developed, sourced, formulated, and distributed active ingredients, excipients, APIs, nutraceutical ingredients, and specialty chemicals, supported by formulation labs and logistics capabilities in France and nearby regions. Barentz announced the acquisition of Unipex in March 2022, and Unipex Solutions France was fully rebranded as Barentz France in November 2024. As a result, the original Unipex business remains commercially active through Barentz France rather than as an independent standalone company. The business is not a therapeutic drug developer and does not appear to operate a clinical pipeline; its value proposition is ingredient distribution, technical support, sourcing, and application expertise for manufacturers.
